If you would like to get involved in the fight against breast cancer, here are some ways you can help. Viva Las Chicas is seeking volunteers in the following categories:

In this capacity, you would be welcome to join us at our general meetings, held on the second Monday evening every month. You would also be welcome to participate in our awareness events and walk with our amazing team in events such as the Race for the Cure or the Breast Cancer 3-Day. There are no minimum requirements for this category of volunteer and you can do as little or as much as you wish. |

This is the area for individuals that would like to make a greater commitment of their time and energy. There are nominal annual membership dues of $25. Volunteer members would be required to attend at least four general meetings, participate in two awareness events, and one fundraising event per year. Once this commitment has been met, you will receive a special member's shirt. These members are the backbone of our organization. |

If you own a service related business, such as home cleaning, wash and fold laundry service, lawn care, in-home child care, or any other basic life need service, Viva Las Chicas would love to talk to you about our family assistance program. Viva Las Chicas is occasionally approached by families in crisis due to cancer who need help with things most of us take for granted. If you would be willing to provide services to one or more families a year through VLC at reduced or no cost, it would make a huge impact on the quality of life for these families. You would be giving the family back the time they need to deal with all the fight against cancer involves, and to quite simply, be together as a family. Viva Las Chicas is currently seeking local business who will support us in our mission of family care and comfort in times of crisis. |
