Our Mission
Our Mission is Threefold:
First, to provide the tools, knowledge, and resource information needed to ensure early detection, and to provide resource information in the event of a diagnosis of breast cancer.
Second, to provide support, encouragement and compassion to individuals who are battling breast cancer and their families.
Third, to work hand-in-hand with organizations such as the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), The Lance Armstrong Foundation, the American Cancer Society and others to raise awareness and funds for research into a cure for this hideous disease. Together we do make a difference!
How We Can Help
Viva Las Chicas assists individuals and families after a breast cancer diagnosis by providing services such as laundry, support, even supplying meals. Our survivors are willing to make a call to the newly diagnosed to answer questions or to just listen. Viva Las Chicas affirms that each family is unique and our support is individualized to meet each family’s needs.
